Bar stories is first of its kind restobar in PCMC area. PCMC lacked such bar and with bar stories it surely has reduced efforts of people to go long way searching for some good bar with such lovely ambiance and food.
They surely have some eye catchy ambiance. Nicely arranged inside seating is surrounded by a bar at
one side and nicely neon lit walls on the other three. Also, they have arranged small lights play and some alcohol quotes around a corner which is totally dope. Last but not the least, they have a worthy dance floor where you can try some steps out and a small stage where live concerts and band performs at respective days.
FOOD & DRINKS:
They specialize in cocktails and their cocktail menu is made under the consultation of India’s leading
Mixologist Arun Chaudhary
We were served following cocktails:
- Take me to heaven
- Tube light
- It’s my legacy
- Lost stories
Take me to heaven was the red wine cocktail mixed with some herbs and fruits. I really enjoyed this drink while munching on some delicious nachos. She didn’t make a mark to my taste buds. It was a wine based with some spices added to it. While Tube light was a vodka base which had lemongrass and ginger ale. The combination of vodka and lemongrass didn’t go well. I personally liked Lost stories. It was served in the tea pot with small tea glasses. I was impressed by this unique serving style. I personally liked this drink amongst the other. This was whiskey based with hint of burnt oranges.
This was one of the best nachos I have had in recent times. Cheese was fresh while salsa tasted perfect. As I mentioned, I was munching on these delicious nachos while my other hand held their signature cocktail.
Paneer Achari Tikka:
Go to a bar and don’t find paneer starter? Well, then that’s not the bar you visit. Bar stories has some amazing Veg starter to hog on. Paneer was soft and marinated in the perfectly made achari masala. You can just go on with this dish.
Fish in lemon butter garlic sauce:
Perfectly done fish with lemon and butter garlic flavor gave it a good to go dish. This was unique dish I had in recent times. It is worthy to order this dish if you are seafood lover.
Murgh Makrana Kebab:
This looked appetizing when came to the table. Aesthetically it looked mouthwatering. But as we had the bite it turned out completely opposite to our expectations. Chicken was overcooked and there were no flavors reaching inside.
Caramel Custard & Chocolate Bombe were the two dessert which were served on our table. Of which caramel custard was average while chocolate bombe was something out of the world. It had melted chocolate filling. As soon as you break the outer chocolate, melted chocolate oozes out.
Thank you Sheena Thadani for extending the invite and Bar stories team for hosting us.
