Pesto pesto is back again, now in KP, with new and better additions to their menu.
Recently been there and got the chance to relish on it.
For SALADS we had “Pesto’s Watermelon Feta Salad” and “Classic Chicken Caesar Salad”.
To be honest, I am not a salad person. So, I really can’t make any judgement on it. What I felt was they both were good enough to keep you healthy. The ingredients used were fresh and had right amount of seasonings to make it taste delicious.
Then was the time for small plates.
Sundried Pesto Cottage Cheese and Jalapeno cheese corn balls were served in veg while Butter garlic prawns and chilli soy chicken skewers were served in non-veg.
Cheese corn balls had enough cheese and jalapenos to create a flavour burst in my mouth. They were crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside.
Sundried Pesto Cottage Cheese was perfectly marinated with all the required seasonings and was very well cooked. Highly recommended for vegetarians.
Butter garlic prawns as the name suggests were buttery and had a strong taste of garlic. These were one of the best butter garlic prawns I’ve tasted in a while.
Chilli soy chicken skewers were equally good. Chicken was juicy and flavourful. Overall it did hit my taste buds. This dish is highly recommended.
For the mains we had mushroom ravioli, margherita pizza, and Tuscany lemon chicken pizza.
Being allergic to mushroom, couldn’t taste the mushroom ravioli.
Margherita pizza was typical and perfect!
Tuscany lemon chicken pizza was equally delicious with a hint of lemon
For the desserts, first came the sticky toffee pudding cake. This was high on caffeine and if you are a coffee lover, you must definitely try this, especially espresso loving people.
Next was out of the world baked blueberry cheese cake. This literally took my heart away. It can’t be more perfect to end the evening.
This was one of my best experience in recent times with the quality and variety of food.
