BeHive is one of the most happening places to hang out in Hinjawadi. It is situated right in the heart of Hinjawadi where you can drink away your work frustrations. The hotel has a pretty big open area in the garden as well as on the terrace along with indoor seating which gives you plenty of seating options to enjoy the ambience. The USP of their ambience is their beehive shaped booths in the garden where you can sit and enjoy your evenings.
BeHive also has a Microbrewery (starting soon) which offers a variety of on tap beers. The food served is quite unique with some new combinations which were really delicious.
Ice Tea: We were served with fresh lime ice tea which was completely refreshing just like the ambiance of the place. The fusion of tea and lemon flavours proved fresh and refreshing to the mind and the soul after a hectic day.
Cucumber Daiquiri: This cocktail was a mixture of cucumber juice mixed with lime juice and white rum, garnished with cucumber slice on a skewer and mint. The drink was quite refreshing and tasty and soothed my nerves.
Mini veg kebab:
This was a basket of 3 types of kebabs:
Beetroot Kebab: These were perfectly cooked, tender inside and were really tasty.
Hara bhara Kebab: The taste was simply delicious and the kebabs were just perfect! All ingredients in the right proportion made it taste good.
Dahi kebab: The sour taste of the curd made it taste different from the others. They were too dry inside. My last choice of taste in the plate was dahi kebab. I loved others more than this.
Water chestnut spring roll:
The spring rolls served were an absolute delight, especially with the chestnut chutney served along with it. The chestnut chutney was something different and tasted refreshing to the taste buds.
Chicken murg malaiseekh: The chicken was perfectly cooked in white sauce and the combination tasted really wonderful. The chicken was an absolute melt in the mouth.
Fusilli pink sauce Pasta:
The pasta was really cheesy and tasted yummy. The pink sauce was well mixed with the fusilli and the extra cheese made the whole dish just too cheesy. For all the cheese lovers this is your dish!
Veg Delight Pizza:
The pizza was topped with cherry tomatoes, olives, bell peppers, capsicum, zucchini, baby corn and a lot of cheese! The pizza was a total hit among the main course and was a total delight to have!
Portuguese grilled chicken skewers:
The skewers were cooked to perfection and served with some fried rice and bone marrow dip. The dip was something different which I had never tasted before. The dip was starchy and had a potato-like taste. Chicken was at the perfection of taste with no chewiness but deliciousness. The overall dish tasted nice inspite of the unusual combination.
Laila Majnu Brownie with Ice-cream: And last to finish the scrumptious meal we had, the desert was a walnut brownie with ice-cream topped with a lot of chocolate sauce. This dish was the perfect end to a delicious array of dishes none of which disappointed me.
The overall experience was really great since I had a great ambiance, a great view and amazing food along with some amazing company along… The key ingredients to a perfect evening!
