A perfect Romantic Destination, “Levit8”

Rooftop restaurants are ecstatic and filled with romance. The air is totally different and if you are with your special someone it becomes even more beautiful.

Recently, I was lucky enough to visit, such restaurant in aundh, “Levit8”.

Ambiance:

It had romantic ambiance with neatly arranged tables and chairs. Also, it had sofas for big groups and high rise chairs in front of big screen for sports enthusiasts.  Lights were perfect and so was atmosphere.

Drinks:

Apple Mojito had white rum, apple, mint, lime and soda. It was refreshing after a hectic day of work.

Rose Mary Marlo had rose merry and basil leaves, lime wedges and ginger beer. It was an unconventional drink as compared the regular ultra-sweet mocktails. The ginger beer gave it a strong punch which hit the senses real fast although there was no alcohol in it.

Food:

Sahetmand Chakna was the first thing we ordered as we needed some bar bites to have with our cocktail. It had boiled – Corn, Black Chana and peanuts mixed with tomato, onion, chilli and lime. It was the proper desi chakna and the preparation was good and went well with our drinks.

Chukander ki Tikki was a totally new experience for me as I never had the combination of beetroot and peanuts in a tikki. It was very light and airy. It was crumb fried and tasted absolutely delicious. The mint chutney was equally tasty and went very well with the tikki

Jerk chicken Tikka was a new twist to the conventional jerk chicken. The chicken was marinated in jerk and tandoor grilled to a perfect tikka and drizzled with some hot barbeque sauce. The chicken was soft and tender on the inside. It was sweet and spicy.

Paneer Lababdar with Stuffed paratha: Creamy gravy, tender paneer and soft paratha what more you want. It was the perfect combination for an evening of comfort food. The paneer had a rich, creamy gravy with an absolute melt in mouth paneer in it. The hot stuffed aloo parathas completed the mains.

Veg Pan Fried Noodles were topped with choice of vegetables, sesame oil , and laced oyster sauce. The noodle-veggies-oyster sauce combination went very well with the rich paneer and the parathas. I finished the entire dish and was left wanting for more

Overall it was a great experience at the restaurant and definitely a visit again restaurant.

Thank you Sharvari and Milestones for this opportunity and thanks for hosting us team Levit8, you were great!
